Alireza Kavian Rad was born in 1967. He has been graduated in B.A. in Graphic Arts and in M.A. in animation directing from Art University in Tehran.
He is a lecturer in Shariati Art and Architecture Faculty and Tarbiat Modares University in Tehran and the director of Green Pencil institute too.
He started to work in animation industry from 1994. Among his works “countdown”, “A Peep Show”,
“Kid’s broadcasting”, “Rostam And Esfandyar”, “Coalition”, “For kids” and several TV series as “The old stories” and “Our Tale came as a Maxim” are most known.
He won several prizes including; The Honorary Diploma for the animation design for “countdown” and “A Peep Show”. Three awards for the best creative animation, the best Music and the best second film for “Coalition” and the best music for “Rostan and Esfandyar” in the previous editions of TIAF. The second place for the Cartoon Portrait in the 5th International caricature Biennale in Tehran and etc.
He was a member of the jury for animated films in three editions of “Khane Cinema” festival and membership in the board of directors in ASIFA-IRAN. Also illustrating books for children is some of his activities.
University lecturer- Director
Kiarash Zandi was born in 1972 is graduated in animation directing from Art university in Tehran and is a student of the PhD degree in art research. He is a member of the board of directors of Graphic arts in Soureh Institute and also is the head of “Khat Khati” magazine.
He has been starting his career in animation from 1995 and won more than 30 international and national awards and prizes in Graphic arts, films and animation.
His film has been screened in the international competition in Zoom Film festival in Poland in 2008 and 2009 and also in the IRPEN festival in Ukraine in 2008.
Also he was attending in different festivals as an advisor, consultant and jury member. He is a member of the board of directors of the White Crow caricature group, the caricaturists association and the union of animation studios and ADAB computer games.
Being a member of ASIFA- Iran, membership in the illustrator’s association, running the exhibitions in the international caricature festival in Ankara in 2005 and holding the personal panel in Saint Just Le Martel international caricature festival in 2005, 2006 and 2008 are some of his activities.
Hossein Moradizade was born in 1970 had been graduated in animation directing in B.A. from I.R.I.B. faculty.
He started his career in animation from 1990. Among his films the trilogy of “The legends of snake-shoulder” and the animated short film “Owl” which is an adaptation from the “Blind Owl” written by Sadegh Hedayat, the famous Iranian writer, are the most known works.
Membership in painter’s association, member of the selection committee for animated films in I.R.I.B. festival, members of the jury for “khane Cinema” festival and retrospective on the experimental films in cinema in La Barbizon, Paris, 2004 are some of his activities.
He won the special jury prize from Tehran Short film festival in 2007 and the best film prize in the Film-Book festival in 2000 for “Owl”. Prize for the best design and national attention from TIAF in 2007 for “The legend of snake-shoulder-1”and also the best feature film’s prize in national category from TIAF in 2009 for the 3rd episode of “The legend of snake-shoulder” are some of his prizes.
Managing Director Of Asifa Iran- Director
Ravanbakhsh Sadeghi was born in 1971 is graduated from animation directing and TV production in B.A. in I.R.I.B. faculty. He is lecturer in I.R.I.B. faculty and in Elmi-Krabordi University , is the artistic advisor in Saba Studio, the head of animation department in the “Mellal” Institute and the chairman of Asifa-Iran.
“Mr. Safety”, “Ghasrolhosn”, “Mr. Fireman”, “Stories of my motherland”, “Proverbs”, “Do you know?”,
“The joy of knowledge”, “War never”, “water”, “The passenger”, “The magic ring”, “Kereshmeh” and etc. are some of his films in animation.
He was a member of the jury in “Khane Cinema”, membership in the professional council in SABA institute, membership in the programming council in I.R.I.B., membership of ASIFA-International and membership in the first national animation conference are some of his other activities.
He was attending in ASIFA’s conference in Zagreb film festival in 2006 as a presenter of Iran.
Sadeghi was winning several prizes from international and national festivals among them the first prize for the best credit for TV productions from I.R.I.B. festival in 1998, the honorary Diploma and Special ASIFA prize from TIAF in 2001, the best graduation film and the special jury prize from student film festival in I.R.I.B. faculty and prize for the best film in new media from Zagreb festival in 2006 and etc. are most famous.
Fatima Yasrebi was born in 1975. She has been graduated from B.A. in painting and studied in M.A. in animation directing in Terbiat Modares University in Tehran.
She started to work in animation industry from 2004. Among her works “Chairs”,”Nothing”,”Scarecrow’s smile” and “The story of 5 fingers” are most known.
She is one of the animators of Bill Plympton’s “Guard Dog Jam” in 2011.
