Aliakbar Sadeghi: He was born in 1937, in Tehran. His animated films "Seven Cities", "The Flower Storm", "Boasting", "Rook", "Prince Khorshid", "Zal and Simorgh" earned numerous national and international awards. He has been a member of jury at several national and international festivals including the First and the Second Tehran International Animation Festival. His films have picked up many awards at films festival around the world including: Educational Festival, Lebanon, 1973, diploma/ Chicago Festival, 1975, Silver Plaque/ Virgin Islands, 1975, Golden Plaque/ Child Film Festival, France, 1975/ Golden plague of city of Auberviller, France for collection of works, 1996.
Alireza Kavianrad: He was born in 1967, in Tehran. He studied graphics (B.A.) and animation (M.A.) in University of Arts. He teaches arts in universities and illustrates children's books. His animation film Countdown acquired a diploma for best design and characterization from the 1st Tehran International Animation Festival and was also screened at Sydney and Melbourne festivals. |
