Born in 1941 in Budapest. Joined Pannonia Film in 1960. He has designed and directed numerous animated films (shorts, feature, series), having won more than forty prizes and diplomas of merit at different international and domestic film festivals. Author and illustrator of books about animation, fairy-tales, symbols and mythology, co-author and editor of cultural television programs. Board-member of different professional organizations, managing director of Pannonia Film Ltd., president of the National Cultural Fund of Hungary.
