Ah Young Jung was born in Seoul, South Korea. Graduate of industrial design from Hong-Ik University. Moved to California in 1998 with her husband, where she studied animation at California Institute of the Arts.
Seung Won Choi studied industrial design in Hong-Ik University in South Korea and later experimental animation and scene design at California Institute of the Arts. Outside was made as his thesis. It was his second film at Cal Arts — made in collaboration with his wife.

Synopsis: We go outside; we are always on the inside. We go inside; we are always on the outside. Various perspectives between inside and outside.
