Known for his mastery of pinscreen
animation invented by Alexander
Alexief and Claire Parker, he made
Three Exercises for Pinscreen of
Alexief in early 1970s. It was
followed by Mindscape (1976) and Night
Angels, co-directed with Bratislava
Pojar. Ex-Child, another major film of
his, was created with pinscreen
technique. |

A Hunting Lesson |
|
Synopsis: Antoine is fascinated with his
neighbor, a mysterious old man who lives a
solitary life in a big house. Although he
now spends his days writing at his computer,
it is said that he was once an adventurer
who traveled the world in search of big
game. He finally gets into the house and
convinces the old man to teach him to hunt.
But the lesson Antoine learns from him is
not at all what he had expected. |
