Born in Budapest in 1950. Graduated from the College of Creative Arts in 1973. While still at college, he won several prizes as amateur animation filmmaker that led him down the road to the Panonia Film Studio, where he worked from 1973 to 1991. He uses puppet, clay and paper-cut techniques and is often invited to give workshop on them. Filmography: Motortue (1982), Ab Ovo (1987), Ad rem (1989), Ashes (1994), Song of the Sand (1995), Nest (1997), Labyrinth (1999). Children's series: Never Mind Toby, Zeno, Elephant Tof Tof.

 

Stones

Synopsis: From the dust of pebbles and stones the visions of a pregnant woman flood forth and float by. This is represented by moving sand pictures with constant associations. The wind blows around unopened letters in which whole lives swell then explode sweeping everything away.
