Born in 1972, Tehran. Studied painting in Isfahan University of Arts and, later animation directing in Tarbiat Modarres University. Four years of professional background working in Saba Company, I.I.D.C.Y.A., IRIB (Hamedan Center) and private animation production companies.

Zal and Simorgh

Synopsis: Finally a child is born to legendary hero Nariman. He has been waiting for twenty years to have a son. However, the boy has white hair and blue eyes, what makes Nariman believe he is the son of devil and will bring bad luck for him. They take the child to the mountains and leave him there all alone. The child, known as Zal in Iranian book of legends Shahnameh, is brought up by mythical bird Simorgh (meaning thirty birds).
